In Memory: Arnold Palmer
Seton Hill University extends its deepest sympathies to the family of golf legend and Latrobe native Arnold Palmer, who died on September 25. Mr. Palmer, a former Seton Hill Trustee who received an honorary degree from the University in May 2013, has been a steadfast supporter of the University. His Latrobe Country Club has served as the host site for Seton Hill's Doug Wood Memorial Golf Outing, where Mr. Palmer would often stop by to say hello to the golfers. His support of the construction of The JoAnne Woodyard Boyle Health Sciences Center will help Seton Hill students long into the future as they prepare for careers in health care. Mr. Palmer's commitment to improving the lives of his neighbors in Westmoreland County and beyond will never be forgotten.
