Big On Data: Seton Hill Offering New Certificate Programs in Big Data, Software Development
Seton Hill is launching two new online certificate programs in data analytics (big data) and software application development that will allow working professionals to advance their careers in the technology field. The new programs, which will take less than a year to complete, begin March 27.

Taking the Day On: Seton Hill Volunteers in Honor of Martin
Luther King Jr.
Students, faculty and staff went out into the community on February 4 to "Take the Day On" and perform community service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Seton Hill community members went to nine different service locations, including Caritas Christi, St. Emma's Monastery, the Greensburg YMCA, Central Westmoreland Habitat for Humanity, Greater Parkview Church, Christian Layman Store, Seton Hill Campus Ministry Lounge, Our Lady of Grace Food Bank, and the St. Vincent de Paul Store.

A Champion of Learning: Lorraine Sciacca-Finch '75 Finalist for Teaching Award
Seton Hill alumna Lorraine Sciacca-Finch '75, a family and consumer science teacher at Charleroi Area Middle School, is one of four finalists for the Champions of Learning Awards presented by the Consortium for Education. The winner will be announced April 1 in Pittsburgh.
