We are excited to announce plans for a unique opportunity to commission a piece of music from the world renowned wind and composer, Dr. Timothy Mahr, to be performed by Seton Hill University’s talented Westmoreland Symphonic Winds.

Dr. Mahr's work will be written in tribute to someone very special to our ensemble, Seton Hill University Professor Kathy Campbell who was the founding conductor of WSW in 1986 and who just completed her 40th year of service to the University. The commission will be a marvelous, timeless piece written in honor of this extraordinary milestone. The hope is that the piece will capture the elegance, energy, and optimism that Professor Campbell brings to Seton Hill each and every day. The total anticipated cost of the commission, including an on campus visit by Dr. Mahr, is $10,000.

Thank you in advance for your support of this commission project.
